When you contract with ekm Inspirations to design your résumé, you will receive the following:
Comprehensive career assessment interview (in person or on the phone) to extract the key information pertaining to your employment and education history, skills, and accomplishments - Strategic planning to determine what to include, what to leave out, and how to present the content in a way that catches the reader and draws him in
- Your résumé written by a Certified Professional Résumé Writer (CPRW) and created using the latest version of Microsoft Word software.
- Industry specific "key words" incorporated throughout the content to match your skills and accomplishments to targeted job descriptions
- An electronic copy transmitted to you via email and/or on diskette
- Matching letterhead to compliment your mailed correspondence
Because individuals have unique needs and requirements, there is no "set fee" for having me design your résumé. The complexity of your work history; the need to address possible employment barriers; your desire to make a career change, and other factors impact on the amount of time that goes into creating a document.
As a frame of reference, the fee structure for the basic résumé package ranges from $125 for most entry level and hourly positions to $650 or more for executives and federal job seekers. Written correspondence is an essential piece of the job search process. Every résumé you mail needs a cover letter; every personal contact requires a follow-up thank-you; every networking referral requires a letter of introduction. Form letters and "To Whom it May Concern ..." will be certain to turn away a prospective employer. ekm Inspirations can compose just the right document to meet your needs. I will:
- Research the company to write the letter with the employer's needs in mind - not yours!
- Identify the appropriate contact name to be certain your letter reaches the correct hands.
- Incorporate key words from the job description so the employer will see you as the best candidate for the job.
